Oldstyle skates is a website dedicated to all older skateboarders who have taken up the board again , like others before me ,after a 25 year break i thought it was time to start skating again and like everyone else ive caught the bug.
A couple of years ago myself and a few old freinds thought it would be good to grind down a few more copings , and what good timing , in the past year the Gold Coast council have finished and opened three prime skateparks situated only minutes away from all of us , they are - Elanora , Nerang , and Varsity .

Ive been a timber machinist all of my life and working with timber gives me great satisfaction , so i started making my own skateboard decks .
Using canadian rock maple , formica and carbon kevlar , i came up with quite a few designs that are both strong and functional.
all of my decks are hand made using a custom press that i made myself and are made locally in Tugun -Gold Coast.
I will also make any member submitted design as long as a photo and specs are supplied.
