This year looks to be another good year for Gold Coast skate parks , with the Tweed Heads park ( not really gold coast but we'll let that slide ) under way and now Gold Coast city council has released tender bids for the upgrade of the old Pizzy park , located at  - 80 Pacific Avenue, Miami .
And by the looks of the new Pizzy plans it looks to be a bloody ripper , with beginner bowl , intermediate bowl and the now existing  , rip you a new bum hole bowl.

The proposed commencement of the Pizzy park up-grade is supposed to be December 2009 .......sounds good to me.

There is also talk going around regarding the Southport Broadwater Plan c proposal  , to include a skateboard bowl facility into the plan. if so the bowls are said to be designed for advanced skaters  , sounds good  , maybe we can have our own bowl a rama at south port , but it would have to be bloody good to beat Hellanora .
